stuff

Posted by andrea in: Oh! Things!

A trip to Sally Ann last night and Ottawa Neighborhood Services this morning (both located on Richmond Rd. near Lincoln Fields) netted me some good stuff.

Funny thing: when you’re shopping in a second-hand store you can never find what you’re looking for. I was on the lookout for cool vintage earrings and broaches but came up totally dry in that department.

Instead I found a silky scarf in my new favourite colours (99 cents!!). Two views for you here:

Next up, a boho style shirt… NWT, if you can believe it. Check out that slit! It actually falls under TBL (the Bo0b line.) Woo hoo. And it’ll go perfectly with that bluey/greeny wrap-around skirt I purchased from eBay awhile back, the one with the batik birds along the bottom hem. (Photos of it are still online here.)

So here’s the top… it’s a very very light cotton with pretty beading:

Next, practical but not nearly as exciting, a burgundy-coloured Spring hoodie type jacket made by Reebok. I am drawn to coats and jackets like a moth to a candle. Go figure.

Anyway, yes. So far it’s been a fruitful weekend. :)
