A wedding to remember

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Photography

Weddings are happy things, aren’t they? A longtime friend of ours got married on Saturday, in a shady park in Oxford Mills near Kemptville.

I took a few pics to commemorate the day. How could I not?

The vows

The happy couple

The happy couple

… and then I handed the camera over to the kids, who gave our day a whole new perspective. This is only a small selection of what they shot:

Video girl

Spinny dress

chairs and people

mummy glued

photo of a photo being taken

Cake and cupcake

tabletop flowers

Swinging

Lawn bowling feet

Hot diggity

lonely chairs

Mark

Cue angels!

I just love these! They totally crack me up. I need to remember to hand over the camera more often.

That shot of you with the sun flare is amazing and I also like the one perspective looking up from the swings! Well done.

It was a beautiful day. Such a happy couple. And fun that the band, Fire and Neon, performed at the end of the evening. (They had played Bluesfest at 3 pm earlier that day).

Thanks for the photos :)
