A bit about our microwave!

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Home/reno|Publishing/writing/career stuff

I KNOW. It’s an odd topic to write about, isn’t it? But our microwave is new and nifty and if you’ve been following the Fishbowl Reno series and/or are interested in kitchen-related gadgets you may find it interesting. You can read it over on the Used Everywhere blog right here. THERE IS VIDEO TOO. I’m not EVEN KIDDING. I’ve turned into an appliance nerd!

That’s a HUGE microwave. Very clever how you placed it directly on the floor and use it as an island. It even has a wine rack! Sweet.

I love that microwave and the placement of it! We have an over the stove kind and I’m not a huge fan. It’s the ONE thing I would change in my kitchen. I find it gets in the way of my stovetop cooking on occasion (like if I have stuff on the backburner, I can’t lean over to fully see in the pot because I would bang my head on the microwave).
