Butter tarts!

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Recipes and Food

Once the cooler weather hits, I start craving things like this:

Hot butter tart + coffee = heaven. Who wants the recipe? :)

If you’re not the kind of person who likes sweet treats (but not rolling out crust) you can try this recipe that involves ready-made tart shells. OR you can try this recipe for butter tart squares.

Do you have a favourite butter tart recipe? If so I’d love it if you shared it. I need to get over my fear of rolling out my own pastry!

You may know that I adore pies, and pie making, and tarts, and tart making. I make all kinds of pies but butter tarts are the one thing that elude me. They just never turn out!

I should make it my project for fall.
