Sounds good. I was thinking of adding it to my read list.

Hi
First off please let me say that I enjoy reading your posts all the time. I mentioned your challenge of not shopping for any non-essential items to my husband and he considered it to be a worthwhile venture!
This brings me to my comment about this post. Instead of having the link to a commercial website (although seeing a picture of the book is not a bad idea) why not suggest that readers check out their local public library and borrow the book, thus meeting both your objectives in one post ;)
One of the most blessed advantages to having found your post is that you are from Westboro, in Ottawa! Many of the other blogs I read, and find very interesting, are from women in the United States. They are fun to read but checking in with your blog is great because I live in a small village just outside of Ottawa and I am very familiar with the Westboro area… I only wish you and this technology had been available to me when I was raising my family of 7 children (blended family!). But as a grandmother now of two I sure appreciate knowing about the current parenting culture is and I applaud your sense of doing what is right and true for your family and not following what “everyone else” does! You are an inspiration to other moms and grandmoms. Keep posting/writing!

Hi Joann –
Thanks for your lovely note…
You make a valid point! When I’m writing these little snippets for the sidebar I don’t spend a lot of time on them. I link to Chapters.ca because there’s more info there than I am willing (and have time) to provide here … i.e publisher info, an official blurb, as well as other reader comments. I hope that I don’t need to remind people to support their local libraries. But in case I do, please, GO SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY! :)
