Here we go again

Listen up.
My thirty-something-but-really-TWENTY NINTH birthday is coming up. Soonly! August 19th to be precise.

I am longing, truly, madly, deeply LONGING to ring the occasion in with a pair of roller skates. There is NO better gift for someone like me. See for yourself. I think I like these better than the previous pair I bid on… the ones I loved and lost. :(

Ebay. You are a fickle mistress.

My dear friends. Please tell me you love me… AND that you love me enough to contribute to my birthday roller skating fund. I will give you undying gratitude in return. (!)

Edited to add: I know we’re totally broke. I know there is money that needs to be spent elsewhere, but the skates are MINE now! BWA-HA HA! ;)
