Some people carry big purses, come carry small purses. Every purse should contain some basic items that we need to get us through the small emergencies that occur on a daily basis: wallet, keys, writing utensil, kleenex, matches, emergency food item, and hand wipes. If you have these things you can survive pretty much anything. But there are a few other extras that I recommend carrying with you… namely, lip gloss, dental floss and a compact mirror.
The mirror can be a lifesaver.
1) You can flash reflected SOS signals if you’re abandoned somewhere far away from a coffeeshop and a taxi cab. You can also use it to start a fire.
2) Have you ever had the feeling that you might have something in your teeth but aren’t sure? Save yourself the embarrassment and and don’t try craning your neck to look into the side mirror of someone’s parked car.
