Maybe someone misunderstood how this was all supposed to work?

I’m still puzzling.

Walden is wandering!

By andrea tomkins in Challenge me, challenge you,Ottawa

UPDATE: Well. I think Walden is gone. Sigh. That didn’t last long, did it? There’s a bit more info here.

And here’s a clue regarding his first stop in Westboro:

Funny parking sign!

Where’s Walden is our little family project. It’s the Trust Experiment with a bit of geocaching thrown in along with a measure of social media. Hopefully there will be community participation, but if not, that’s ok too. I like to think that Walden is spreading joy wherever he goes. Maybe Walden will encourage family walks around Westboro? Maybe he’ll help people discover some cool stuff about their neighbourhood? Or practice their orienteering skillz? :)

Care to play along? Or maybe you’re just wondering what the heck I’m talking about. This page has been set aside just for Walden and I’ll be updating it all summer long. That is, if he can last that long without wandering off and getting lost. :)

This morning we took a loop around the Canada Agriculture Museum (a.k.a The Central Experimental Farm) and the ornamental gardens. You couldn’t ask for a better day weather wise. Plus it was free! (Although you do pay for parking there now.)

There was a lot going on today, and a lot of friends we wanted to visit. Sidebar: have you ever been licked by a cow?

My favourite roses

Ew! Crabapple trees covered in dead caterpillars.

It was a great way to spend a few hours. And now it’s time for a nap. I need to recharge before the fireworks!
