a peek inside the fishbowl

Quick question here… if you live in Ottawa, where on earth you get your kid’s hair cut?

Do you cut it at home?
Do you go the cheap route?
Have you found a really good kid-friendly hair place?

Do share.

(Thanks!)

dress your sandwich giveaway

I haven’t quite stopped moving since yesterday. It’s still go-go-go, but today there are actually a few more things on my list. Gah! But I couldn’t sit on this post much longer. Eeep!

The super stylin’ Lavish & Lime have offered three reusable sandwich wraps for me to give away to Fishbowl readers. Yay!

Some of you may remember my posting about them earlier.

I am so happy for you, you lucky dogs. I wish I had one, er TWO, because the girls would fight over them. It’s such a great product. What’s more, this qualifies as one of those great ideas I wish I had thought of ages ago, because if I had I’d be a millionaire already. *sigh*

Anyway, here are the deets.

1) You must have a Canadian address to enter.

2) In the comments below, you need to give me the recipe for your favourite sandwich. Be truthful! It’s okay if you like peanut butter and relish. Or garlic, onion and blue cheese. No one will laugh and I will forever admire you for your honesty.

3) Posting about this on your own blog means I will enter you in the running twice. (And yes, you can use the graphic if you like.) Please let me know if you have done this by putting the URL of your post in the comments below … this, in addition to your recipe, of course.

4) Deadline to enter is 5 p.m. on November 19th 2008, at which point I will draw three random names and L & L will ship one sandwich wrap to each of you.

Get it? Any questions? Now, over to you.

  • I have a great little giveaway in the works. If you’re anything like me, I think you’ll like it.
