Your “what to bring camping with kids” list was very helpful..we are going to Lake St. Peter this upcoming week.
any recommendations? we are looking for quiet and peaceful but we do have 2 young inquisitive nature lovers (ages 3 and 7)

Lala – it was a wonderful place. That whole area is pretty cool.

Paula – I think you’ll have a great time with your boys! There are a couple of nice beaches on the site. You can also rent a canoe, kayak or paddle boat. Lake St. Peter isn’t far from Algonquin Park and there are quite a few kid-friendly trails there you might want to check out. The Algonquin visitor’s centre is a must-see too! Have a great trip!
