Yesterday was a miserably stinky wet and cold day here in Ottawa. What better time to do something crafty?

Sarah and I made pom poms. She got the hang of it right away.

“Around and froo, around and froo, around and froo… ” she was practically chanting her way through the process.

I’m amazed she had the patience, but this is one of those crafts that is extremely easy for kids and has great results. It does require a little bit of patience, but everyone from four-year olds up to the Martha Stewarts of the world will likely achieve the same results. There’s really nothing to mess up. Even non-knitters like me, daddy and grandpa know how to make pompoms. And that’s saying quite a bit. ;)
