First official Fishbowl Show and Tell: in which Sarah feels sorry for the squirrels

ps – Leanne plays with those little people all the time, having birthday parties for all her toy friends with the little cake table and present box. We hear her singing happy birthday to her toys all the time when she’s playing in her room.

Excellent Squirrel feeder, Sarah! It gives them a bit of exercise and fun, too, in addition to making it easier for them to get their nibbles. Have you put it outside yet to give it a test run? Gordon and I would love to see pictures!

Gordon would offer a show and tell of his own but at 3.5 months he has not yet mastered the keyboard. Plus, he’s got a nasty bug today and is feeling sorry for himself.

Wow Sarah…we love your squirrel feeder. We like squirrels here, but then again we only get to see them on tv, maybe it would be a different story if they were invading our bird feeder.

Hey Sarah, I have been meaning to compliment you on that great squirrel feeder. What a fabulous idea!

You know I feel sorry for the squirrels too. Because winter came so late here in Toronto (which isn’t THAT far away from Ottawa), the squirrels started shedding their winter coats thinking it was spring. After all, there was green grass everywhere until about the middle of January. But now, it’s cold and icy and there’s snow everywhere, and some of the squirrels look like they’re wearing only half their winter fur! I hope it grows back quickly so they won’t get cold.

I only have a bird feeder outside my house but I let the squirrels feed there too because I feel sorry for them.

Good job!
