This is what happens when you give a kid a camera

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Photography

My in-laws gave Sarah their old digital camera. It’s a Kodak DC3500, ancient by technology standards, but it’s perfect for little people and Sarah’s been going wild with it. I love it. I love her excitement. It’s so interesting to see the world from her point of view, and to see what she chooses (and how she frames) her subject matter.

BTW, there are lots of shots of family, but they’re all looking right up our noses. I’m not posting those, no matter how much you beg and plead. ;)

Anyway, here’s a smattering for your review. Please note, they have not been cropped or retouched in any way:

I love them, starting young is definately good :). It is also fun to see things how kids see things.

They are very cool! You know, speaking of the nose shots…it’s a good opportunity for an etiquette lesson!

Though um…I’m one to talk, since I have a lot of “blackmail” shots myself…

Oh wow! I have not visited in awhile :)
This is lovely! It’s really interesting to see how a little person’s point of view is.
