Things I am loving: our new patio lights

Posted by: andrea tomkins In: Home/reno|Oh! Things!

As I wrote about previously, we’ve been busy planting/weeding/chopping stuff down in our backyard. Mark trimmed some trees and took out a whole bunch of branches recently, which is great until you have to clean up/bundle up the aforementioned branches. Sigh. Things I am loving: our new bed!

Posted by: andrea tomkins In: Oh! Things!

This post is about how we went for a walk and bought a bed (!) but I thought it needed a bit of backstory first. When I first moved in with Mark (keeping in mind this was 20+ years ago) he had a terrible terrible bed. It was a double, with a mattress that sunk […]

Things I am loving: Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap

Posted by: andrea tomkins In: Oh! Things!

Things I am loving: Frasier Fir hand lotion

Posted by: andrea tomkins In: Oh! Things!

I will get right to the point and say: WOW. I love it when my hands smell like Christmas. Under normal circumstances, I am not a huge fan of scented products. I find most products overscented and I am pretty picky about the scents that I do like. It’s a pretty short list, especially in […]

Things I am loving: line-a-day journals

Posted by: andrea tomkins In: Oh! Things!

At the end of 2017, I finished my five-year line-a-day journal (!) and immediately bought myself a new one. (Hey, it’s on sale at Amazon right now!) I liked this habit too much to discard it. In case you aren’t familiar with the idea, the line-a-day gives you a small space to fill in every […]
