If you’ve been following this blog for awhile you know that I have an ongoing fascination with found objects. My children are now in the habit of picking stuff up off the road/sidewalk/whatever, holding it out to me and asking if this “is this found art.”
We have found some pretty interesting things.
Mark has caught the sickness too and has been known to find some pretty good stuff. Well, he found something really interesting while biking to work the other day. It’s a first for our found art collection.
I was going to post a scan of it here, but changed my mind because some people might find it offensive. That, and it might get someone in trouble.
But at the same time it is TOO GOOD not to share.
I will email the scan if you request it. Let me know in the comments below if you’d like me to email it to you, but be forwarned: it’s not for the squeamish or faint-of-heart. (!)
“While you’ll be dragging a bit today, someone else’s boundless energy will inspire you to keep going! So try to hook up with a buddy who can help you through any chores or exercise routine that you aren’t feeling quite up to today. Having someone who can help you persevere through the rough spots is an invaluable gift today — it’s not a crutch to need someone to cheer you on every once in a while, so don’t feel guilty that you can’t do it on your own right now.â€
Oh where are you, my energy buddies?
I had to talk myself into getting dressed this morning… I’m talking “out loud†talking.
“OK ANDREA YOU’RE GOING TO SKIP THE SHOWER. LET’S GET SOME SOCKS. NO MATCHING ONES? FORGETABOUTIT. IT DOESN’T MATTER. JUST MOVE ON AND FIND SOME UNDERWEAR. NOW WHERE’S YOUR HOODIE?â€
This change of mood is strange, since I was motivated enough to spend six hours (with Mark) cleaning out our garage on Saturday. I hoovered up cobwebs and everything! And I spent an hour hula-hooping on Sunday. More on that later.
I have so much to do today.
First, I will finish this coffee. Next, powerwalk, and then I will launch myself into my list.
Okay Andrea. Just do it.
