a peek inside the fishbowl

I’ve listened to this song at the gym three times today. I’d never seen the video before now. I found it a little odd that they’d blank out the word gun, don’t you?

You know the part where the girl comes in near the end of the song? I find it impossibly difficult not to sing along at that part. But I usually check to make sure no one is close by first. ;)

The Healthy Eating Challenge is going pretty well, although there have been a couple of small hiccups along the way.

It’s Earth Day! What are you doing to celebrate?

– I am going to drink my coffee on the front steps, and stop to admire the flowers that are coming up
– and then do some yard work
– after school, the girls and I are going to pick up some garbage outside the house and plant some clover seed in the lawn
– Mark biked to work, so the car is going to go unused today
– we’ll eat dinner outside

ETA: good news! The province of Ontario is banning the cosmetic use of pesticides. Woot! (Thanks Mark)
