I had a sudden hankering to make something yesterday. That something was going to be this chicken. Here’s where I confess my total lack of sewing skillz. It looked soooo simple, and perhaps it is, but sewing curvy onto curvy is a bit beyond me. *sigh*
So I tried. And gave up. Now there is a half-sewn chicken in my dining room. Bah.
I’m about to drop the girls off at a cupcake-making class. While they’re out I’m going to try my hand at something else. This one is a lot easier. Results will be posted as soon as the glue dries. :)
“Mama?”
“Yeees?”
“Can you judge which ice cream cone is the most mouth-watering?”
“Uh, sure!”

Later today: if I can get some work out of the way I’m going to make a chicken. Stay tuned.

And may I add that this Daylight Savings business might just be The Very Thing That Pushes Me Over the Edge?
Now for some pics.
I like to call this one, “Kids don’t care as long as they don’t have to shovel anything”:

This one is called: “My in-laws had a pool. Once.”

This one is called “They just got back from Myrtle Beach. And here’s Mark, doing their driveway for the 27th time.”

And last but not least, this photo is called “Here are a few of my favourite things.” Alternately titled: “Reading in front of the fire is Good.”
