Living Room Revival – part six

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Misc. life

Marisa, Nicole and Donna (who wasn’t able to make it last Thursday for the initial meeting) came by to take more measurements. Emma coughed a lot, while I made my best attempts not to infect them with our bug.

The more I chat with them the more I like them. There were no alarming questions about tropical florals, but I felt really conscious about what I was saying. Not only because of my drug-induced state (cold medicine has been known to do funny things with people’s minds) but because I was afraid that they’d pick up on something I said and then run with it.

Interesting questions: do I like warm colours or cool colours? Hmmm. I like colours from both. But I do not, for the record, need a room that’s decorated like a Mexican hacienda. Temperature-wise, the room is generally on the cool side. Does this mean that it would be best to use colours from a warm palette? I’m not sure about this.

Colour is all I’ve been thinking about lately. I’m glad there are professional people making the choices, not me. It’slmost too overwhelming to think about.

I can’t wait to see what they do! And I definitely don’t think your LR was that bad to begin with…Mix kids with any room and you get clutter and a mis-mash of juice-covered furnishings.
Get well soon! :-)
