It’s good to be home

Posted by andrea in: File under crafty|Oh! Things!|Photography

Am home. The journey was relatively uneventful. I picked up a few things along the way: underwear, a rather miraculous push-up bra (!), some fancy craft papers from Michael’s, and, as pictured below, a roll of vintage so-tacky-it’s-beautiful wallpaper. I paid $3.25 for it. I might make envelopes out of it. What do you think?

[Edited to add: I found it in a junky “antique” store along Highway 7 en route to Toronto. Rummaging in rural junkshops can be pretty dusty, but sometimes worthwhile things can be found! I wonder if some it is unearthed in the attics of nearby farmhouses… ]

Andrea,

Have you seen the pears on Loobylu’s Main Page? The big one has fabric that looks exactly like your wallpaper find!
