This one is for my aunt Joan

To all interested parties:

The Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region will be celebrating its 40th year as an organization.

We would like to extend a special invitation to all past volunteers and staff of the Distress Centre of Ottawa & Region to come celebrate this momentous occasion with us. This is your opportunity to connect with past and present volunteers to share your experiences with others who share a passion for helping individuals in distress and crisis.

It is our pleasure to be hosting this event to celebrate the individuals who have helped us reach this milestone and continue to show their support.

If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Judy Grunwald at jgrunwald@dcottawa.on.ca or call (613) 238-1089 ext: 223

If you know of any past volunteers, please pass this along!

(The Distress Centre of Ottawa is a crisis line. Distress Centre volunteers are available day and night every day of the week to answer calls for help. Over 150 volunteers answer over 37,000 calls a year. They are good people, just like volunteer Joan Schrier who forwarded me this info for posting here. She’s one awesome lady.)
