We’ve run out of time to paint our basement floor.
Our apartment still isn’t rented and the MERE THOUGHT of carrying our rent after we’ve moved into the new house is giving me heartburn and regular panic attacks. (See/share/email the listing here. Gah.)
Our move-in day is October 24th and there is a mile-long list of things that needs to be done.
CALM BLUE OCEAN.
CALM BLUE OCEAN.
So right now I’m trying to cross one bridge at a time and focus on the good things.
Like my perfect dogwashin’ sink (marble tile and backsplash still to come):
And my duel-fuel GE stove (from Universal) and amazing Notto D’oro granite countertops (from Arban Stoneworks) and gorgeous Riobel bathtub faucet (found at Westend Bath and Kitchen). Sigh.
This week – of all weeks – I need to clone myself at least two or three times. How on earth am I going to get everything done?
My name is Andrea and I live in Ottawa with my husband Mark and our dog Sunny who is kind of a big deal on Instagram. During the day I work as a freelance writer. I am a longtime Ottawa blogger and I've occupied this little corner of the WWW since 1999. The Fishbowl is my whiteboard, water cooler, and journal, all rolled into one. I'm passionate about healthy living, arts and culture, travel, great gear, good food, and sharing the best of Ottawa. I also love vegetables, photography, gadgets, and great design.
