My last reno post was about energy conservation. Today I’m thinking about water.
On a scale of 1 – 10, how important do you think it is for residents of the water-plentiful parts of this planet to conserve water?
Water is pretty cheap. But does that mean that we should all use as much as we want? For me it’s not a necessarily a cost issue, it’s almost a moral or ethical issue.

Speaking of the NAC, have you heard about the Cirque de la Symphonie?
The NAC is not known for death-defying performances (unless there’s something going on in the orchestra that I don’t know about) but I have two tickets to give away to this thrilling and yes – death-defying – show.
Imagine: aerialists flying high above the orchestra in a gravity-defying ballet, astonishing acrobats, sinewy strongmen, nimble jugglers, virtuosic mimes, and amazing contortionists… all accompanied by “ringmaster” Jack Everly and the NAC Orchestra.

It’s an amazing opportunity to see two worlds colliding (not literally, I hope). You can read more about it here, and I urge you to read this show’s program notes in order to fully appreciate the calibre of the artists who will be performing… which include world record holders, gold-medal winners of international competitions, and Olympians.
