Toasted and roasted

Posted by andrea tomkins in: Easy ways to make kids happy|Photography|Recipes and Food

well done

How do you like your marshmallows?

Charred?
Lightly browned and hot on the inside?
Raw?
or squashed between a graham cracker and a square of chocolate?

I only like marshmallows during camping or when we have a good fire going. For me, lightly toasted! Yum!

completely charred! Every side, even top and bottom. I love them that way AND no one ever asks me to share… Double win for me!

Perfectly browned and bubbly on the outside, gooey on the inside… with chocolate and graham crackers is never a bad thing!

All the above, please. It depends on my mood, but I’ve certainly enjoyed all of those versions.

The ones in the picture look perfect to me! Although I do crave a smore every now and again! We are having a camp fire tonight and I am totally running out to get marshmellows now thanks to this post!

I hate to admit it, but I can take a pass on the s’mores. Or maybe I’m making them wrong?

I only eat marshmallows when we’re camping.

I like them lightly browned and bubbly on the outside, hot and mushy on the inside. It takes patience, a hot spot in the fire and a lot of slow rotisserie type turning… but the results are delicious.

Just the lightly brown and hot in the inside.

S’more are ok but I’m just not that fond of them. I guess I will be tarred and feathered now.
